Welcome to Read4G (“Read4G”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Read4G web application and related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Read4G is a web-based language learning application that provides tools for practicing German through:
Certain features of the Service use artificial intelligence (AI) to generate texts, questions, feedback, corrections, or suggestions.
AI-generated content is produced automatically and without human review unless explicitly stated otherwise.
The Service is provided on a free and experimental (beta) basis. Features may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time without notice.
The Service does not guarantee the correctness, completeness, reliability, linguistic accuracy, or pedagogical suitability of AI-generated content. The Service does not provide accredited or certified language instruction and does not guarantee examination success or specific learning outcomes.
Users are solely responsible for independently verifying AI-generated output before relying on it for academic, professional, or official purposes. Users are also responsible for ensuring that their use of AI-generated content complies with any academic, institutional, or professional rules applicable to them. Read4G assumes no responsibility for how generated content is used.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required to validly consent to digital services under the laws of your country of residence, whichever is higher.
If you are below the applicable age, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Access to the Service may require authentication through a third-party provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe that:
You may submit answers, text, or other content while using the Service (“User Content”).
By submitting User Content, you grant Read4G a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, analyze, and display such content solely for the purpose of:
User Content is limited to responses entered into exercises. You agree not to submit unlawful, infringing, abusive, harmful, or technically disruptive content.

The Service is provided as an experimental beta version for testing and evaluation purposes. During this phase:

Users are responsible for retaining copies of any content they submit. Read4G does not guarantee storage, continued availability, or recoverability of User Content.
We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or subscription models in the future. Users will be informed in advance before any fees apply. Continued use of paid services may require acceptance of additional terms.
Users are under no obligation to continue using the Service once fees apply.
All software, design, branding, and functionality of Read4G are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion if these Terms are violated or if continued operation becomes impractical.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict of law provisions.
Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
